Objectively, per EPA Kyler was objectively better than Jacoby

it just says that amongst the problems this team had, QB might have been one of them, but it wasnt the worst of them
How much better? I don’t love EPA as a stat (too much of a black box for me and feels like a derivative of a derivative). But that’s only one stat. Is it adjusted for opponent?

Brissett’s passer rating is five points higher. His QBR (PFR version) is four points lower. These numbers are close enough that it’s really just dying fast vs dying slow.

It's probably the 3rd thing I noticed thanks to the bad sacks, inaccurate passes, and constant early 3 and outs
He missed open receivers? I saw throws into tight coverage. Bad sacks or nobody open. Three and outs featuring Michael Carter as the feature back. Started the season on the practice squad. A D that couldn’t stop a high school team that created a lead that allowed Bengals to tee off on a backup QB. That is what I saw.

Just in case nobody has said it yet, this thread is silly, because there's no need to trash a guy who's giving our team everything he's got, and earning every penny the Cardinals are paying him.

If you think that he shouldn't be playing in place of K1, fine (I think that), but it's not his fault the coaching staff butchered the QB1 situation like a bunch of ham-fisted jack asses.

6 c o m p l e t i o n s for 2/3rds the game. He played so bad I now question my prior assessment that he was fine as a bridge QB, You KDS people can't even admit when he abjectly sucks and that is a problem. Just like it was a problem that people defended Kyler no matter what

For multiple weeks, Jacoby Brissett has sucked. S-U-C-K-E-D sucked. It doesn't matter he is the back up or the guy who hasn't played.

Capital S, little u, little c, little k, little s. Sucks

And this is against what was widely considered a bottom 3 defense. He didn't suck against the Rams (been there done that), this was against an absolute dreg defense

You KDS people? What the hell are you talking about? Did you even watch the game? That was as bad a defensive showing as I have seen. Name a QB that could have made a difference in that game today. So pathetic that people like you focus on the backup QB and bash him like you do. And you know what you can do with your smart ass posts.

A practice squad RB. Patched OL and Harrison leaves hurt as usual. Admit he didn’t have chance or name a QB that would have given them a chance today. I am waiting big mouth.

I questioned the whole game why we were calling plays that took time to develop. We never forced their defense up. Lack of short crossing patterns and dumps never dictated to the defense.

All season long there never seemed to be a solid plan. We went against the weakest defense in the league defending the tight end. McBride had 2 catches in the first half. Sure he got catches in the second half when the game was pretty much out of hand.

We have 4’11” RB running up the middle way to much. Remember Kiner last week? Why did we not see him in the game.

I hate the thought of starting all over again. I tried to cling to the team that lost the close games early in the year before we got banged up. But good coaches and schemes cover up and adjust weaknesses. I just don’t see this staff getting better.

I believe Kiner had one carry. Demercado makes more sense than Carter but once we went down too much running wasn’t an option.

As I said earlier, Brissett was good to excellent for 3 games. Tape came out and he sucked. 4 games later nothing has changed. Every week his weaknesses get more pronounced as nothing changes in the game plan. It's why I am not calling for him to be gone too despite the absolute suckage because maybe he can be the bridge guy next year but it has to be a radically different situation across the board
