The Milwaukee Brewers were not able to get Tarik Skubal from the Detroit Tigers. Still, they have one of the top flame throwers in the game with Jacob Misiorowski. Misiorowski is known for his 100-mile-per-hour pitches and has been the top pitcher in the rotation for his first-place Brewers.
Now, Misiorowski has set Brewers franchise history, per ESPN Insights.
“Jacob Misiorowski now has the Brewers franchise record for the most games with 10+ Ks in a single season (10)! He also has the most such games in the last two seasons (12),” ESPN Insights noted on X, formerly Twitter.

Misiorowski struck out ten batters against the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday. He also gave up two hits, a walk, and a home run, giving up two runs in the game. Misiorowski took the loss in the game, his fifth loss of the season. This year, Misiorowski is 11-5 with a 1.63 ERA and 195 strikeouts on the year.
He has also been on a roll when it comes to striking out batters. In his last five games, he has struck out ten or more batters in four of the last five games. On July 2, he struck out ten batters against the Cincinnati Reds, before striking out 11 batters against the St. Louis Cardinals on July 7. He would strike out just six against the Mets on July 20, before striking out 12 against the Colorado Rockies on July 26.
The Brew Crew is in control of the NL Central. The Brewers are 69-42 on the season, placing them 6.5 games in front of the Chicago Cubs in the NL Central. They open their series at home against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday.
