Aaron Rai is the talk of the town in the golfing world right now after his superb PGA Championship victory on Sunday at Aronimink.
Rai caused a huge shock by winning the PGA Championship after he emerged from a packed leaderboard on Sunday to lift the Wanamaker trophy.
The Englishman played his final 10 holes on Sunday at Aronimink in six-under par as he ended up winning by three from Jon Rahm and Alex Smalley.
And now Jack Nicklaus and Sir Nick Faldo have reacted to Aaron Rai‘s win at the PGA Championship on their social media channels.

Rai rose to 15th in the world rankings after his epic PGA Championship win and he’s more than deserving of his new-found standing in the game.
Now he has received messages of congratulations from two of the greatest players to have ever graced the game.
Jack Nicklaus sends message to Aaron Rai after the PGA Championship
Nicklaus took to his Instagram account to congratulate Rai after his win at Aronimink.
“I think Rory McIlroy’s comments Sunday on TV said a lot about the popularity of Aaron Rai’s first major championship win,“ Nicklaus said.
“Rory said, ‘You won’t find one person on property who’s not happy for him’. Rory added that there might not be a more popular winner this year on the PGA Tour.

“Obviously, Aaron is very well liked by the players, and you hear them applaud his work ethic, his love and respect for the game, and his appreciation for what the game of golf has given him.
“Aaron has been knocking at the door, and when he finally opened the door, he found a pretty nice prize— the PGA Championship. Well done, Aaron! Congratulations and we wish you continued success!“
That message from Jack Nicklaus will mean the absolute world to Aaron Rai.
And the Golden Bear wasn’t the only golfing great to react on social media to the 31-year-old’s impressive win.
Sir Nick Faldo reacts to Aaron Rai’s PGA Championship win
Rai’s fellow Englishman took to his X account to send a message to the newly-crowned PGA champion.
“Hi, Aaron Sir Nick here.
“I wanted to send my congrats to you on that incredible, fantastic victory last night at Aronimink at the PGA.
“I’m absolutely delighted. A bit of old school –– you were fourth most accurate on hitting the fairways.
“Nice to really bring that back and the way you putted, it was unbelievable.
“I saw those greens a couple of years back, with CBS, they are incredibly difficult.
“You mastered that, so congratulations.
“Delighted for the DP World Tour, that we have now won the first two majors of the year.
“So all the best, and I look forward to seeing you in the summer. Cheers.“
