If you're looking to watch the 2026 World Cup from Michigan, you'll likely have to stick to your TV screen, with the nearest match taking place in Toronto, Canada — about 4½ hours from Detroit.

The World Cup matches are spread across 16 cities in the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

The first matches kick off at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 11, with Mexico and South Africa at Mexico City Stadium, and South Korea and Czechia at Estadio Guadalajara.

USA and Paraguay play at Los Angeles Stadium at 9 p.m. EDT Friday, June 12. None of the players on Team USA are from Michigan.
