World Cup schedule revealed for 16 knockout round matches

The World Cup has whittled the field from 48 countries to 32. That means the knockout round is on tap with matches taking place from June 28 to July 3.

All three of the host countries advanced. Canada, Mexico, and the United States will play their games on June 28, June 30, and July 1, respectively. Canada is the only country that will not be playing on a field in its homeland.

The Canadians will play South Africa at Los Angeles Stadium.

A look at the schedule for the 16 matches in the upcoming round:
