Will Seattle Seahawks star Jaxon Smith-Njigba repeat as AP Offensive Player of the Year in 2026?

At the time of this article’s publishing, FanDuel Sportsbook has given Smith-Njigba the sixth-highest odds to win next season’s OPOY award at +1800.

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs (+650), Atlanta Falcons RB Bijan Robinson (+900), Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase (+1000), Los Angeles Rams WR Puka Nacua (+1300) and San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey (+1600) were all given higher odds than Smith-Njigba to take home OPOY honors in 2026.

Smith-Njigba will be playing alongside the same teammates in Seattle’s receiving corps next season. While Rashid Shaheed is in line to have a bigger role on the team in 2026, he is unlikely to greatly diminish the massive amount of targets that JSN receives, which will likely lead to the Seahawks’ leading receiver putting up numbers deserving of serious OPOY consideration once again.
