Is Lamar Jackson on board with Ravens' offseason changes? originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The Jesse Minter era is underway for the Baltimore Ravens as OTAs have begun for the AFC North franchise, and Lamar Jackson, to some people's surprise, has been in attendance.
With the two-time MVP taking part in practices, he's gotten to work with new OC Declan Doyle and Minter as his new head coach.
Having been with John Harbaugh since he came into the league, this is the first time that Lamar has had a dramatic change like this in his NFL career.
But does he feel there is a new vibe and energy around the building because of the changes?
"I would say yes because new coach, new OC, new guys in positions," Jackson said. "Everything is just new, basically, besides upstairs right now. Coaching staff is new. I'd just say it's a breath of fresh air because everything is just new."

Ravens under pressure in 2026
Being under pressure is nothing new, but the Ravens, much like the Buffalo Bills, are in a little different situation than most.
Despite the head-coaching and other staff changes, the expectations have remained the same: to win the Super Bowl.
With the Ravens having a roster many think can go the distance, with a first-time head coach, that looms as a tall order, but that is what Minter is walking into. Yes, having Lamar as your quarterback certainly helps things, but Baltimore will have a lot of pressure to perform in 2026.
The offseason is where the foundation for that Super Bowl run will be made, and right now, things are flowing nicely for the AFC franchise.
