The Vikings are making their return to Boston.
Norway will continue its 2026 FIFA World Cup journey against France on Friday, June 26 at 3 p.m. at Boston Stadium (known as Gillette Stadium for locals).
While competing in its first World Cup since 1998, Norway is in a good position to win Group I. However, perennial power France is in the way. The 2018 World Cup champions and 2022 World Cup runners-up also enter at 2-0-0 on the tournament.
The group winner will play a third-place finisher (from Groups C, D, F, G or H) on Tuesday, June 30 at New York New Jersey Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. (5 p.m. EST), and the second-place finisher will face Ivory Coast on June 30 at Dallas Stadium in Arlington, Texas (1 p.m. EST).
Despite this being Norway's first World Cup appearance since 1998, the team set high expectations and has risen to them thus far. After entering the tournament tied for eighth-best odds to win the tournament (+3300) per BetMGM Sportsbook, Norway is now ninth (+2800).
