The Chicago Bears are gearing up for a Sunday Night Football showdown against the San Francisco 49ers, where the No. 1 seed is on the line for both teams.
The Bears already clinched the NFC North, thanks to the Green Bay Packers' blowout loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday night, but there's still plenty to play for. But there are also some injury concerns for Chicago heading into Week 17, including right tackle Darnell Wright.
Wright was a late addition to the injury report on Saturday, putting his status for Sunday night's game in question. What's the latest on Wright? And what could this offensive line look without him against the 49ers? Here's the latest:
Wright was a surprise addition to the injury report on Saturday afternoon listed with an illness that has hit several Bears players in the locker room this week. Wright did not travel with the team on Saturday and has been listed as questionable for Sunday night's game. Wright could certainly travel separately, but there's been no update on his status. Other players who have been battling an illness include cornerback Nahshon Wright (questionable), receiver Devin Duvernay, linebacker D'Marco Jackson, cornerback Josh Blackwell (questionable) and cornerback Nick McCloud (out).
Heading into the season, rookie Ozzy Trapilo was listed as the backup right tackle, a position he played in college. But Trapilo has been excelling as the team's starting left tackle for several weeks now, and you have to wonder if the Bears would risk consistency for the young lineman in kicking him over to the right side. Theo Benedet, at one point, was the starting left tackle before he was replaced by Trapilo. It feels like there's one of two options: Trapilo at left tackle and Benedet at right tackle or Benedet at left tackle and Trapilo at right tackle.
Considering it's an illness that appears to have gone around Halas Hall, and one that players have overcome rather quickly, it shouldn't sideline Wright for more than potentially this one game against the 49ers. Wright has been playing through an elbow injury all season, essentially playing with one arm, which makes his performance even more impressive. So when he can be out there on the field, he will be.

How much time could Wright miss?
