As No. 13 Iowa women's basketball (14-2, 5-0 Big Ten) enjoys a great start to the 2025-26 season, the Hawkeyes still have eyes on the future. Iowa is hosting class of 2027 four-star guard Mya Wilson for an unofficial visit on Sunday when Iowa hosts No. 14 Michigan State, per 247Sports' Dushawn London.

Wilson is a 6-foot-1 combo guard who stars for Hill-Murray School in Maplewood, Minn. Wilson also plays for All Iowa Attack, a Nike EYBL squad that has been home to a number of major talents, including Caitlin Clark.

Per Rivals, Wilson is the No. 44 player nationally, the No. 4 combo guard and the top player in Minnesota in the 2027 class. According to PrepGirlHoops, Wilson is rated as the No. 55 player in the 2027 class, as the No. 13 overall combo guard, and as the No. 1 recruit in Minnesota.

Prior to visiting Iowa, Wilson will take an unofficial visit to Nebraska on Jan. 17. Wilson also has an official visit scheduled to TCU on Feb. 15.

Per Hill-Murray's records (as of Jan. 12), Wilson is currently averaging 25 points, 10.0 points, and 4.0 assists per game at the midseason mark.

Contributing to that impressive stat line was a recent 38-point, 8-rebound, 3-assist, and 3-steal performance on Jan. 2, which included her surpassing 2,000 career points. The star guard followed up that stellar showing with her first career triple-double, scoring 28 points, collecting 11 rebounds, and registering 10 assists on Jan. 3.

Wilson holds offers from a number of fellow Big Ten programs, including Illinois, Ohio State, Michigan State, and Wisconsin.

While Mya does not have an offer from the Hawkeyes just yet, that could be in line this weekend. Iowa has already extended a scholarship offer to her younger sister, Ashlee, on April 28, 2025. Ashlee is part of the 2030 recruiting class.

Per Skim Milkey, Ashlee Wilson and fellow class of 2030 product Claire Stoops will also visit Iowa this weekend.
