I believe the most difficult prep week for an NFL player during the regular season has to be Thanksgiving Week. It’s getting late in the year, your prep week is off some with the holiday on Thursday, and just the motivation factor after celebrating Thanksgiving with family and friends. We normal folks feel it that first days back at work. I think this is the week when extra prep on your own has to be crucial for an NFL player. That being said, the Cardinals and Kyler Murray are 0-4 in games he has started right after Thanksgiving. Is it coincidence? Is it bad coaching? Is it a bad sign for a QB who isn’t known for study and prep even on regular weeks?

Here are the 4 games Kyler has played:
2019: 34-7 loss to Rams (19-34, 163 tds, 0 TD, 1 Int)
2020: 20-17 loss to Patriots (23-34, 170 yds, 0 TD, 1 Int)
2022: 25-24 loss to Chargers (18-29, 191 yds, 2 TD, 1 Int)
2023: 37-14 loss to Rams (27-45, 256 yds, 1 TD, 0 Int

I’m still scratching my head as to why we passed 45 times and didn’t really see James Connor after the first quarter.
