Inter dream of Svilar as Sommer nears club exit

Inter have begun planning for next season with the goal of revamping their squad, starting in goal.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Yann Sommer’s time with the Nerazzurri is coming to an end.

The Swiss goalkeeper will leave Milan as a free agent after three years.

This move forces Inter management to look for a replacement, and the Nerazzurri appear to be interested in Mile Svilar.

Mile Svilar appears to be the transfer dream for Inter, writes the newspaper.

The Giallorossi goalkeeper is one of the league’s most reliable and decisive players, yet snatching him from Roma seems difficult.

Not only is Svilar one of the squad’s top performers, but Gian Piero Gasperini considers him a key player on which to build the team of the future.

Guglielmo Vicario’s name remains in the background.

The Tottenham goalkeeper is currently Inter’s most likely prospect, but his situation is tied to Svilar’s fate. Roma, in fact, have also explored Vicario as a potential emergency solution should unexpected transfer scenarios arise surrounding their goalkeeper.
