Fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers received an important update regarding veteran offensive guard Isaac Seumalo, who is set to become a free agent in March.
According to Dulac, Seumalo will test free agency, and if he decides against returning to Pittsburgh, the Steelers will look to replace him in free agency.
"He'll probably test the market," Dulac said via Randy Baumann and the DVE Morning Show. "But if he leaves, their intention is to sign a guard in free agency to replace him. … Looking at the free agent market for guards, it doesn't seem like it's the greatest. You either have a bunch of old guys, or a bunch of young guys. Seumalo is not a big ticket, but we'll see."
Some potential free-agent replacements Pittsburgh could target are Wyatt Teller of the Cleveland Browns and David Edwards of the Buffalo Bills, two talented guards we've previously covered in our Steelers Wire scouting reports.
Seumalo has been terrific since joining Pittsburgh in 2023, earning the first Pro Bowl recognition of his career as a Steeler. But as the team prepares itself for the Mike McCarthy regime change, plenty of roster changes are expected to follow.
