At this rate, Bucannon will not sniff his 8 mil next year, and the Cards are getting into a prime, low cost extension situation.

Hopefully it doesnt impact this year. Dansby gonna need to coach up reddick on the field.

What happened to bucannon this year is pretty weird
First, waiting june for the surgery
And now probably accelerating his recovery and re-injuring the ankle

I am not looking forward to watching Reddick struggle with reading plays.
Same, but to spread some pessimism, Reddick played pretty well against Atlanta in the preseason when he had Dansby coaching him. Hopefully that play carries over into the regular season & then some.

I would think a due of Dansby and Reddick would be better than the Minter/Bucannon combo... the later was either two slow on one side or two light on the other to get to the play and make a difference

At this point it's not Reddick's athleticism that concerns me..

I would also add, I wasn't looking forward to watching Bucanon get pancaked and washed out of running plays either, so while his pass coverage will be missed, Deone Bucanon play against the run will not be.

Now I am sure Reddick can hold up physically, but I agree he is a step or so slow reading plays. Thus it may be nothing loss, nothing gained in the end.

Dansby is going to really have to lock down the run defense for this team while Reddick gets comfortable.

I'm hoping Reddick plays well this year, so Deone can actually play some SS.
