Today marks the official beginning of NBA free agency, but former Wisconsin Badgers center Micah Potter isn't going anywhere.

As of Monday, June 29, the Indiana Pacers officially exercised their $2.80 million team option on the big man.

Potter stands 6-foot-9 and is fresh off playing for his third team in five seasons. With the Pacers, he started seven games and appeared in 47.

It was a banner year for Potter as he set new career highs in minutes per game (19.3), rebounds per game (5.0), assists per game (1.5), and points per game (9.7).

According to Hoops Hype's Michael Scotto, the $2.8M deal is fully non-guaranteed for the 2026-27 season.
