BLOOMINGTON — Indiana basketball won a gold medal by. beating the Virgin Islands 99-57 in the finals of the FISU America Games. The Hoosiers went undefeated at 4-0 in the event by beating the competition by an average of 60.8 points.

Indiana basketball's top performers against Virgin Islands​


Indiana forward Aiden Sherrell was named tournament MVP after putting up a double-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks against the Virgin Islands. He was one of six players to score in double-digits on Monday afternoon.

  • Bryce Lindsay: 17 points, seven rounds, six assists
  • Trevor Manhertz: 15 points, three rebounds
  • Darren Harris: 13 points, three rebounds, two assists
  • Prince-Alexander Moody: 12 points, two rebounds, four assists, two steals, two blocks
  • Aiden Sherrell: 10 points, 10 rebounds, two blocks
  • Sam Alexis: 10 points, five rebounds, two blocks
