BLOOMINGTON — Indiana basketball will face the Virgin Islands in the FISU America Games at 6 p.m. Thursday night. Both teams won their first game in the group stage of the event with lopsided victories over Peru.
The Hoosiers are representing the USA in the event that brings together college athletes from North, Central and South America and the Caribbean for a competition across 15 sports. The participating teams in basketball include Chili, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Virgin Islands, Peru and Team USA. The top two teams in each pool advance to the elimination rounds on Saturday.

Indiana's games throughout the event will stream on the FISU American Games' YouTube page. There is no separate streaming or radio option. Standings for the event can be found on the event's website.
Indiana forward Aiden Sherrell led his team with 19 points (7-of-11) and 10 rebounds, and Prince-Alexander Moody added 17 points. The Hoosiers had a total of seven players score double digits while shooting 56.1% from the field as a team.
