The IHSAA approved tournament sites for the upcoming high school fall sports season at its Executive Committee meeting on Sunday.
In girls volleyball, Northridge will host Elkhart, Concord, Goshen and Warsaw in Class 4A, while Penn will go to Mishawaka. In 3A, NorthWood and Fairfield will go to West Noble, while Jimtown will play at Bremen in 2A. Elkhart Christian will travel to Culver, while Bethany Christian will play at Fremont in 1A.
LaPorte, NorthWood and Culver will host regional games, while Plymouth will be the site of a northern semistate.
In boys soccer, Elkhart will host the local 3A sectional, which includes Penn this year, while Mishawaka Marian will host NorthWood in 2A, while Bethany Christian, which is still up a class because of the IHSAA success factor, will also host a sectional. Elkhart Christian will travel to South Bend Trinity.
Girls soccer has Penn hosting our local teams and Warsaw in what should be a power-packed 3A sectional. NorthWood will host Jimtown in 2A and LaVille will host 1A at Newton Park.
Penn, Marian and Westview will host both boys and girls regional finals, while the north semistate games will be at Kokomo and Chesterton.
Boys tennis will be hosted by Concord, NorthWood and Penn, with NorthWood once again hosting regional play.
NorthWood High will host Unified Flag Football.
Cross country will once again be at Ox Bow Park for the Elkhart County teams, while Penn will go to New Prairie for sectional. The regional site is also at New Prairie.
