Last week, the Raiders were without stating offensive lineman Jordan Meredith who was dealing with an ankle injury. Meredith was officially Questionable on the injury report. And Head coach Pete Carroll revealed Friday that he expects Meredith to available against the Broncos on Sunday.

"He looked pretty good during the week. I think he made it through the week, so we have the chance to make that decision that he goes," Carroll said of Meredith.

The question for Meredith is three-fold. First, will he play? If so, will he regain his starting job? And if so, which job?

Carroll isn't showing his hand on that "We'll show you when we get to game time." Adding after the fact "Always a good try" to the reporter who asked the question.

Meredith started the season at center. But when Jackson Powers-Johnson was lost to injury, Meredith moved to right guard, with Will Putnam coming in at center. Then Meredith went down and the right guard spot snaps were split between third round rookie Caleb Rogers and practice squad call up Atonio Mafi while Alex Cappa stepped in at center for the previously struggling Putnam.

There were rumblings that Rogers supposedly was the best looking lineman for the Raiders in that game. Though even then it was mainly a 'not quite as bad as everyone else' situation. But Meredith put some pretty bad games on tape this season as well.

So, the question becomes just what they end up doing with Meredith now. Do they put him back at right guard and keep Cappa at center? Or put Meredith back at center and continue to let Rogers and Mafi battle it out at guard? Or yet another new combination?
