Maybe we should, instead of wasting a top pick on a bust a QB, go get the best kicker and punter in the draft. After we master that basic part of the game, we can then work on the more complex positions.

Let’s hope the Cards learned their lesson with the Steve Little selection (they drafted Little, a kicker, #15 overall back in ‘78). The team’s kicking situation isn’t great Floyd, but I’d much prefer they cut Amos loose instead.

I actually liked that Punter at Texas the other day...he is an aussie and a pretty solid directional punter with a bit of power...It crossed my mind he might be worth a fifth.

I would draft one from rounds 3-5 if you find one you like. Missed field goals have cost us a handful of games these last two years
