That team had a bit of a feeling to it. You could see the defense play with passion and excitement, even if they weren't that good. We had a savvy veteran QB that knew how to make the best out of what he was given.

There was inspired play to be had. I feel like this team plays with the excitement of getting home so they can get back to their Twitch streams.

no one was saying this team plays with no excitement three games ago. Three games ago people were talking about Kyler as an MVP candidate and Hopkins as the best WR in the league coming off beating a 7-2 Buffalo team and two weeks earlier beating Seattle at home for the first time in 8 years and winning 4 of their last 5 games overall.

and everyone was saying the same thing above after we got routed at home by the Vikings, Pats and Eagles by a combined score of 123-41 down the stretch of the Super Bowl season. Just to break those scores down... that was a 28-14 loss (that wasn’t remotely that close at home), a 48-20 loss on Turkey Night and then a 47-7 pasting by NE.

that team started the season 7-3 and went a REALLY UGLY 2-5 down the stretch.

can this team do what that team did? I HIGHLY doubt it. But you don’t need to go totally kool-aid about that team before the miracle run just because you’ve been waiting to slag this one.

Yeah, if we get in the playoffs. Does flying to New York next week inspire anyone? It's a morning game that's supposed to be cold and rainy.

(And I know we're functionally on the same side here, we both want the team to win but aren't feeling great right now. Just posing the thoughts for anyone else reading.)

I had no confidence coming into today. Next week is a winnable game. We lose there the season is over. We won? Who knows.

I have no idea how they beat Seattle other than the fact I always thought Seattle has a lot of flaws and not as good as everyone thought.

Seahawks beat us - "They are a good team. Division leaders. At least we were in with a shot"

Giants beat Seahawks - "I never thought they were great"

The last 2 games both turned on 3rd and longs that were easily converted. But that was only the case because our offense has been trash.

Kliff has been poor but Kyler has some serious passing issues. You stop Kyler running and we can't move the chains. It's that simple right now.

I'm not really mad anymore. We are exactly what most of us thought in pre season. An average team who's pre bye week schedule was much easier than post bye week which is why we were 5-2 at the Bye and 1-4 since, and a miracle away from 0-5.

We aren't making the playoffs. We may not even finish 3rd in our division.

lol the 3rd and long conversions are now on the offense? Wow talk about lala land, this D has been giving up 3rd and longs since Vance has been in Arizona but yeah let’s blame the offense that our D can’t stop anyone!

I also think New England beats the Rams!! And does it easy. Remember in super bowl. They held the Rams to 3 points. Bill will have a scheme to shut them down.

No, the 3rd and long conversions are on the defense.

The being behind the whole game and chasing comeback in the 4th quarter that rely on a defense with Vance Joseph as DC to get crucial stops are on the offence.

That Rams defense could completely shut out a garbage Pats offense that can't pass.

Well using the machine. We lose all tie breakers to everyone whether we are tired with 1 or 2 except it looks like San Fran. But Minnesota would have To be 7-9. So best way to get in. Go 9-7. Win next 3 and have Minnesota lose to Tampa And New Orleans. Or we lose 1 of the 3 and beat LA

Though unlikely, we can still beat Minnesota in a tie-breaker but one of their losses has to be against Detroit in the final week (to even up the common games tie-breaker). This would push it to strength-of-victory where we currently lead by just ONE game (thanks to the Washington win over Pittsburgh just now).
