Francisco Mauigoa joined his younger brother, Francis, in Coral Gables when the older Mauigoa transferred to UM from Washington State.

Now the older brother is the first of the duo to go pro. The elder Mauigoa was picked by the New York Jets in the fifth round of the NFL draft. He was the No. 162 pick.

Mauigoa was a quarterback in high school but moved to linebacker before he started college. In two years at Washington State, Mauigoa racked up 77 tackles, seven tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks.
