Bad luck for 3 of them -- I don't think they're the root of the team's problems.
Marmie, however -- every time I hear the Rams terrible defensive stats, I can't help but thank heaven for Pendergast. In turnovers Arizona is plus nine, fifth in the NFL. The Rams, at minus eight, are in the bottom five. We are currently at 18th for total yards allowed; the Rams at 29. Sacks: We've got (in the top 50 or so players) Berry at 9, Pace at 4, and Dansby at 4. Rams have Little at 5 and Bryce at 3.5. Their top 2 guys are barely beating our second and third guy out by a half a sack; Berry alone has both of them beat.
Do the Rams numbers remind you of anything? And this was a team that the defensive coordinator was thought of so highly he could choose his head coaching job. People say our defense was so bad cause no talent -- is that true of St. Louis, too?
