They are getting dominated by SF right now...
This division comes down to AZ and SF...
I still think AZ has the edge because of Offense, but SF has good D and a QB that does not make mistakes. SF reminds me of the Trent DIlfer Baltimore team with a lesser defense ofcourse...
Long is a sheep. Just like the rest of the dumb sheep that picked Seattle to win the division. I got into this arguement with a football buddy of mine.
I told him the only other team in the West was the Niners, and that the Hawks were doomed.
One of the many things about losing teams, that I have learned being a Cardinals fan is that if you have "Injury Issues" one season, and do not take care of those "injury issues" then you are going to have "injury issues" the following year as well.
And here lie the Seattle Seahawks with their second season of "getting hit hard by injuries". It is the Seahawks own fault for using damaged goods.
It may be cruel but Whiz doesn't let his roster have damaged goods. Al Johnson, Travis LaBoy, Rod Hood, and others have been released from our tem because they had injuries that were going to keep them out for a long time, never heal right, etc., etc. As I said, it is a cruel fate for said injured player but it prevents what is happening in Seattle from happening to the Cardinals.
Jim Mora is not going to be allowed to ride Holmgren's coat tails, he has to blow up that roster in Seattle and get his own team and roster together. The Hawks have a questionable secondary, a dinged up LB'ing core, an average DL, an average/sub-average OL, average RB's, average WR's.....etc., etc. I am not surprised to see them lose to the Niners. Seriously, if your team plays in the NFC West, and you have a FS up to "stop" Frank Gore, then you should be ashamed. How can you not know that Frank Gore is going to SLAUGHTER you safeties if left one on one.
Speaking of the division.....we got to get after the Niners. I don't like them sitting a top OUR division. (yes, that was very arrogant, but fun to write out

)
