As a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, Tom Brady might have mixed feelings about A.J. Brown joining the New England Patriots. But the legendary quarterback played nice in the replies section on Brown's first Instagram post since Monday's big trade.

Brown, who was acquired in a deal that sent two draft picks to the Philadelphia Eagles, reacted to the trade by posting childhood photos of himself wearing a Brady jersey. The star receiver grew up a Patriots fan, so the post didn't surprise anyone.

Brady replied with three "heart" emojis, which Brown surely appreciated.

Brown made his Patriots practice debut on Tuesday and spoke with reporters after the session. Now, he must play catch-up to develop a strong connection with quarterback Drake Maye.

Whether Brown lives up to the hype in New England remains to be seen. But he undoubtedly will improve a Patriots offense that was good enough to earn a spot in the Super Bowl last season.
