The 5-2 D.C. Defenders will face the 3-4 Louisville Kings on Saturday afternoon in an exciting UFL matchup in Week 8 of the 2026 season.

These two teams are playing for the second week in a row, with the Kings scoring a 30-13 upset last Saturday at Audi Field in Washington, DC. After a scoreless first quarter, the Defenders outscored the Kings 13-10 in the second quarter and took a lead into the half, but D.C. wouldn’t score again.
For the Kings, quarterback Chandler Rogers was 17-for-26 for 201 yards and two touchdowns. James Robinson rushed for a touchdown while Ian Wheeler averaged 8.0 yards per carry. Louisville’s Taril Black was the recipient of both Rogers’ touchdown passes.
D.C. quarterback Jordan Ta’amu was 18-for-33 for 353 yards and two touchdowns but was picked off twice. His first touchdown was an 81-yard score to Javon Antonio, while his other touchdown went to Ty Scott. The team struggled to get much going on the ground, with its players combining for 89 rushing yards on 22 carries.
