The Mountain West women's basketball championship is coming to Colorado.
But north or south?
The Colorado State women's basketball team and Air Force will play for the 2026 Mountain West tournament title. The winner goes to the 2026 NCAA Tournament.
Here's what to know about the game.
The Mountain West women's title game will begin at 6:30 p.m. Pacific and 7:30 p.m. Mountain from Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
The game will be broadcast nationally on CBS Sports Network.
How to find CBS Sports Network (CBSSN):
Air Force is the ultimate Cinderella. The Falcons entered the tournament with a 13-17 overall record but are 3-0 in Las Vegas to reach the title game.
As the No. 9 seed, Air Force beat No. 8 Wyoming 60-53. The Falcons then upset No. 1 San Diego State 83-76 in the quarterfinals. SDSU was the regular season champ as well as the defending tournament champ.
Air Force then beat No. 5 Boise State 68-66 in the semis.
CSU is the No. 3 seed, but needed a comeback and buzzer beater to beat No. 6 Grand Canyon 61-59 in the quarterfinals. The Rams then lost star Lexus Bargesser to injury during the semifinal, but rallied to beat No. 2 UNLV 66-59.
CSU has dominated the series, coming in with a 54-18 all-time record against Air Force. But the Falcons have had some recent success.
Air Force won four in a row over CSU from 2021-23 but the Rams have won the last three, including a regular season sweep this year.
CSU won a tight game 65-63 at Air Force and then 66-52 at home.
The Rams are looking to snap an NCAA Tournament drought of nine years. CSU last made the Big Dance in 2016.
Air Force has never made the NCAA Tournament.
