BYU Basketball’s penultimate game of the regular season is Tuesday night at Cincinnati.
The BYU Cougars dropped out of the AP Top 25 this past week after dropping their last two games, and three of the last four. BYU last played on Saturday at West Virginia, where they were bested by a final score of 79-71. The Cougars are 20-9 on the year with an 8-8 conference record. They are tied at that Big 12 record with WVU and Cincinnati.
The Cincinnati Bearcats are 16-13 overall. They last played on their home court in Cincinnati against Oklahoma State, topping the Cowboys by a final score of 91-68.
BYU and Cincinnati have met six times in the past — each team has won three games, so Tuesday will be the tiebreaker in the series. ESPN’s Matchup Predictor favors the Cougars slightly, giving them a 56 percent chance of winning.
