The Chicago White Sox and Seattle Mariners continue their series Tuesday night at T-Mobile Park as Seattle looks to strengthen its position in the American League West race.
Tuesday’s matchup also marks another national streaming showcase for Major League Baseball, with the game airing exclusively on Peacock.

The Mariners enter the matchup at 28-20 overall and have been one of the more consistent teams in the American League through the first two months of the 2026 season. Meanwhile, the White Sox continue to search for momentum after another difficult start, entering Tuesday at 18-31 overall.
Seattle picked up a win in Monday’s opener behind another strong offensive performance from Julio Rodríguez, who continues to lead one of baseball’s more balanced lineups. Rodríguez enters Tuesday batting .301 with 12 home runs and 31 RBI this season, while catcher Cal Raleigh has added major power in the middle of the Mariners order.
The Mariners are expected to start right-hander Logan Gilbert, who has once again been one of the most reliable pitchers in the American League. Gilbert enters Tuesday night with a 5-2 record, a 2.91 ERA, and 67 strikeouts through nine starts this season.
Chicago is projected to counter with right-hander Jonathan Cannon, who enters with a 2-5 record and a 4.48 ERA. The White Sox rotation has struggled for consistency throughout the season, though Cannon has shown flashes of improvement over his last several outings.
Despite the record, the White Sox still feature several dangerous bats in the lineup, including Luis Robert Jr. and Colson Montgomery. Chicago will likely need early offense against Gilbert to have a chance at slowing down Seattle at home.
