Entering Saturday, Wyndham Clark holds a commanding four-shot lead at 7-under par after opening with rounds of 64 and 69, setting a 36-hole scoring record at Shinnecock. Chasing him at 3-under are Xander Schauffele, Matt Fitzpatrick, Tom Kim, and Sam Stevens.
