The Washington Mystics (4-4) take on the Atlanta Dream (6-3) in a Commissioner’s Cup clash on Saturday night at the Gateway Center in suburban Atlanta, with Washington one of just three Eastern Conference teams without a loss in the round-robin phase.

Atlanta fell to 1-1 in Commissioner’s Cup play with an 83-71 road loss to the Indiana Fever on Thursday night. The Fever took control of the game with a 16-0 run in the third quarter to flip a one-point deficit into a 15-point lead. Allisha Gray and Jordin Canada scored 13 points each in the loss, with Canada adding seven assists, while Naz Hillman tossed in 12 points and Angel Reese went for 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Kiki Iriafen posted her fourth double-double of the season on Tuesday night as the Mystics rolled to a 90-72 victory over the visiting Chicago Sky in their Commissioner’s Cup opener. Shakira Austin scored 17 points, while Iriafen finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds, and Michaela Onyenwere added 13 points in the win.
Sonia Citron, who didn’t play on Tuesday with a foot injury, is a game-time decision for Saturday and averages 17.7 points for Washington.
