Mexico will have the honor of opening the FIFA World Cup 2026 at home to South Africa on Thursday.

All eyes will be on the Estadio Azteca on Thursday as Mexico gets the FIFA World Cup 2026 up and running at home against South Africa. The two teams will square off at the Estadio Azteca in Group A as the battle to be crowned champion of the biggest sporting spectacle on the planet begins anew.
