Toluca enters the second leg of this quarterfinal matchup in the driver’s seat, riding high after a 4-2 win at home in the first leg against LA Galaxy. Nicolas Castro got the scoring started early, finding the back of the net in the 12th minute, but Paulinho was the star, as the 33-year-old forward from Portugal put together a hat trick, scoring in the 43rd, 73rd, and 85th minutes to propel his team to victory.

If the LA Galaxy is to find a way to move on to the semifinals, they are going to have to figure out how to possess the ball more often. They had the ball just 27.4% of the time in the first leg, in addition to being outshot 17-7 overall. They were able to cut the lead to one on two separate occasions, first on a Gabriel Pec strike in the 66th minute that cut the lead to 2-1 and then on a Marco Reus goal in the 77th minute that made the score 3-2. In order for the LA Galaxy to move on, they’ll need to defeat Toluca by at least two goals.

This is a great Concacaf Champions Cup matchup that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
