The Boston Celtics will face the Orlando Magic in the opening round of their title defense. Orlando earned the opportunity to go toe-to-toe with Boston after defeating the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday, April 15. Boston is 4-6 against the Magic over their last 10 meetings and 1-2 this season, although Jayson Tatum didn't play in either of those losses.

Tatum and Paolo Banchero will be the key matchup in this contest. The two Duke products will likely be tasked with guarding each other, while also trying to spearhead their team's offense. However, on the whole, the Celtics are the better team, especially in terms of scoring, which has been an issue for the Magic this season.

In a recent episode of the "Taylor Talks Celtics" podcast, host Adam Taylor discussed the upcoming matchup between the two teams. He broke down Orlando's strengths and weaknesses from a statistical point of view before touching on why Jaylen Brown's knee issues are a legitimate swing factor.
