How should we grade the Boston Celtics players for the 2024-25 NBA season? The Celtics, as a whole, had a disappointing defense of their 2024 title in the 2025 NBA Playoffs, but had a better than expected regular season campaign. Some of that can be chalked up to coaching mistakes and player injury, but most of the overachieving regular season and underachieving postseason falls on the shoulders of players.
When we get more granular, there are players who have clearly stepped up their individual games, and others who have fallen well short of expectations. But what sort of a grad ought we to give each of the team's players for what they did this past season?
NBA and Celtics analyst Ian Inangelo recently took some time on a recent episode of his eponymous YouTube channel show to talk it all over. Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what he had to say about the sort of marks he felt this iteration of the Celtics earned last season.
