Ryan Reynolds on X shared his thoughts after Wrexham’s hard-fought FA Cup battle with Chelsea.

“Three years ago this week, we battled Maidenhead United to a draw. Today we pushed Chelsea to extra time. So incredibly proud of Wrexham’s performance today,” Reynolds wrote.

The post highlighted just how far the club has come since Reynolds and McElhenney purchased Wrexham in 2020.

From National League fixtures to pushing a Premier League side deep into extra time, the journey has been remarkable. For Reynolds, the performance itself mattered as much as the final result.

The FA Cup fifth-round clash ended with Chelsea securing a 4-2 victory after extra time.
