Sinner closing in on Sunshine Double as he prepares for Miami Open final
Jannik Sinner is just one win away from adding another chapter to his remarkable season when he faces Jiri Lehecka in the Miami Open final.
The world No. 2 is aiming to join an exclusive list of players by becoming the eighth man to complete the ‘Sunshine Double’ – winning both Indian Wells and Miami in the same season.
Sinner has looked almost unbeatable throughout the tournament and comes into the final as a strong favourite. The winner will take home $1,100,000 while the runner-up will earn $585,000.

How much is on the line at the 2026 Miami Open?
The winner of the 2026 Miami Open will take home $1,151,380, while the runner-up pockets $612,340.
Sinner and Lehecka have met three times before on tour, with Sinner coming out on top each time.
Their first meeting came at Indian Wells in 2024, where Sinner won comfortably in straight sets to reach the semi-finals.
Lehecka put up a stronger fight in their second clash at the China Open later that year, pushing Sinner to a second-set tiebreak but still falling short.
Their most recent encounter came at Roland-Garros in 2025, where Sinner completely dominated, winning 6-0, 6-1, 6-2.
How much prize money Jannik Sinner has earned in 2026 so far
Sinner has already picked up a good chunk of prize money in 2026, despite the season still being young.
He began the year with a run to the Australian Open semi-finals, and even though he didn’t defend his title, he still took home A$1,250,000.
After a quarter-final finish at the Qatar Open added $77,625 to his total, Sinner’s Indian Wells win brought in another $1,151,380.
Sinner’s overall earnings for the season now stand at $2,063,880. Over his career on tour so far he has earned a staggering total of $60,039,831.
