The FIFA World Cup final is here. Here's how to get there if you plan to catch the game live at the New York New Jersey Stadium.
A ticket for the World Cup final costs roughly $7,000 to $40,000.
For $98, World Cup game ticket holders can buy matchday round trips on NJ Transit trains.
There are only three boarding stations: New York Penn Station, Hoboken Terminal, and Secaucus Junction. Passengers coming from other NJ Transit stations within New Jersey must transfer at either Hoboken Terminal or Secaucus Junction to board the special World Cup trains.
Those using New York Penn Station must use the boarding zone assigned to their ticket. Each boarding zone was assigned a color, and staff members will be wearing matching-color vests. Boarding Zone A (Red) is at 32nd Street and 6th Avenue; Boarding Zone B (Blue) is at 33rd Street and 7th Avenue.
In order to have everyone in your party assigned to the same boarding zone, one person must purchase all tickets in a single transaction.
Secaucus Junction and Hoboken Terminal each have one boarding zone. In Hoboken's boarding zone, staff members will be wearing purple vests. In Secaucus, staff members will be wearing green vests.
During ticket inspection, all riders will be given a matchday-specific wristband, which they must keep for their ride from the stadium once the match is over.
There is no reduced fare for kids and seniors. But children two years old or younger and no taller than 34 inches don't need a ticket.
To buy a ticket, download the NJ Transit app, select "Buy FIFA World Cup Train Tickets," and then select a specific matchday and a time slot.
Trains toward the stadium will be departing continuously during a five-hour period prior to the game's kickoff, and stop an hour before the start of the match. Stadium gates open at 11 a.m.
Service after the game runs for the first three hours post-match.
For $20, World Cup game ticket holders can buy matchday bus round trips.
There are four pickup locations: one in New Jersey and three in Manhattan.
New Jersey's pickup spot is at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine in Nutley.
In Manhattan, the buses are set to pick up passengers at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, at the southwest corner of Central Park, and on the east side of Grand Central Terminal.
Service toward the stadium starts four hours before kickoff, and ends one hour before the start of the game. Stadium gates open at 11 a.m.
Return shuttles will depart from the same stadium drop-off location and will run for up to three hours after the match ends.

There will be no vehicle access to the stadium. However, there will be limited off-stadium parking spots at the nearby American Dream mall. Parking tickets must be purchased in advance and are selling for $300.
Ubers and other rideshare services can pick up and drop off passengers at Meadowlands Racing and Entertainment, which has a direct pedestrian path to the stadium.
The NYNJ World Cup concierge website advises that higher-than-usual wait times are expected.
