How many Texas Football players were invited to NFL Combine?

Last year, a record 12 Texas Longhorns were selected in the 2025 NFL Draft. There were 14 Longhorns invited to last season's NFL Combine. This year, that number is cut in half. Seven Texas football players have been invited to take part in this year's event in Indianapolis.

In fact, there aren't expected to be any Longhorns taken in the first round of the NFL Draft. It was a down year for the Longhorns talent-wise and that is carrying over into the draft.

The 2026 Longhorns draft class is definitely skews defense. Five of the seven Longhorns going to Indy are on defense. The two Texas players that will proably get drafted the highest are Trey Moore and Anthony Hill Jr. Currently, both players are being projected somewhere between the second and fourth rounds.

Some of the combine invitees will need to really shine if they want to make sure they get drafted. Jaylon Guilbeau's stats from college might not jump out at you, but good numbers at Lucas Oil Stadium could make all the difference.
