While a perfect bracket is pretty much a mathematical impossibility, it's great to at least be able to make it through the first day of men's March Madness without missing a game.
Thus far, plenty of brackets are looking strong thanks to Duke avoiding what would have been a historic upset against No. 16 seed Siena. Thus far, just No. 12 seed High Point has been able to pull off a double-digit-seed shocker. So, the chalky brackets are looking perfect as we head into the evening window.
According to the live bracket tracker on NCAA.com, more than 850,000 brackets remain perfect.
Over at ESPN, that number is at 634,000.
Inevitably, that figure will get a lot smaller as the tournament goes on. But for now, a ton of brackets remain perfect.
