I'm more optimistic, 10.
The 49ers won't be as good
Stafford will go down with an injury
Seahags will have the SB hangover season
We'll win several games up front because no one will worry about us
And I'm with Books on last year was completely backwards so let's turn it around again with more wins than expected.
By the way, does anyone know how long the little blue pills last? I've got a lot left over from last year. ;)

I'm going with 7.

The schedule is brutal on paper, but stuff happens.

:jedi:
I also selected 7. Injuries killed the Cardinals last 2 years. No way they’ll have as many this time around. I’m optimistic about the running game, passing too. Defense has to be better. Overall, they should be better. Seven might be a stretch, but that’s where I think they’ll land— ~ 7-11.

All of them.

Shock the world.

I guess I'm probably deluded but I won't actually be surprised if we start the year 2-3. I know everyone is saying 0-5 I think the Chargers, Rams and Lions are all games we COULD win, and even SF wouldn't shock me they're in a weird spot now with Shanahan out with the car accident, Klay Kubiak is the OC and playcaller now, obviously his dad has been successful and he might too but pretty big shoes to fill.

To be clear I won't be shocked if we go 0-5 either but I don't think we're as bad as we looked last year that was like a anything that could go wrong did go wrong situation.

I agree, I picked 10 which is very unlikely because 9 won't make the playoffs but it wouldn't surprise me winning 8. And if we do, it's another year of Bidwill/MO effing up because now we don't have a chance at another QB to draft. But hey, sounds like Mayfield may be available....as everyone is saying....the cardinal way ;)

What is the game script that makes you think we can win against each of those teams?

Even if the offense is running hot coming out of camp, hard to imagine the defense being able to get 2+ turnovers or a big stop when they need it.

Rams should be Giants, brain fart.

Chargers are good but not unbeatable. I love Hampton and he's back but not convinced they fixed their issues on the OL. Having had a torn patella tendon I'm not ready to believe Slater will be 100% brutal injury, huge guy just not expecting him to be good right away, think Sweat could give him fits.

Giants are improving but I'm not sold on Dart yet and they're one of the weaker teams on our schedule IMO.

The Lions are just a feeling not sold on their OL being as good as it has been and they have questions in their secondary. Still good obviously a well coached team wtih a great RB and 2 really good Wr's but I think they fell off last year due to a combination of injury, and losing their OC.
