Luka Garza has been a success story of the Boston Celtics season. The fifth-year big man joined the Celtics as a free agent during the summer, following the departures of Kristaps Porzingis, Al Horford and Luke Kornet, via trade and free agency, respectively.

Before landing in Boston, Garza had spent the past three seasons buried on the Minnesota Timberwolves bench, primarily due to the depth in talent at Chris Finch's disposal. However, as part of the retooling Celtics roster, Garza found minutes easier to come by and has proven himself to be an elite screener, solid rebounder and talented perimeter shooter.

In a recent episode of "The Celtics Chronicle" podcast, host Adam Taylor was joined by Frank Garza, the father of Luka Garza. Frank broke down Luka's transition from being an elite collegiate talent to a developmental big man in the NBA, how he's fit in with the Celtics, and the work Garza is still putting in behind the scenes to ensure he continues to get opportunities on the floor.
