On Monday night, the 2025-26 NBA season officially came to an end for former Alabama basketball standout Keon Ellis.

Ellis and the Cleveland Cavaliers fell in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals, 130-93, and as a result, the New York Knicks clinched the series via a sweep in order to advance to the 2026 NBA Finals. This ended the season for Cleveland and Ellis, his first with the Cavaliers.

During the series, Ellis appeared in three of the four games for Cleveland, seeing a majority of his action during that Monday night loss in Game 4. Over the course of the series, Ellis scored seven total points with two rebounds, one assist, and one steal, while also shooting a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line.

The former Alabama guard concludes the first postseason of his NBA career by appearing in 12 total games during Cleveland's run to the Eastern Conference Finals, averaging 1.6 points and 1.2 rebounds a game on 33.3% shooting from the field. Ellis also shot 35.7% from three, as well as 80% at the free throw line.
