Similar to fellow two-way player Tristen Newton, Isaiah Crawford made few appearances for the Houston Rockets during the 2025-26 season. But, unlike Newton, Crawford's play left a bit more to be desired. In 14 appearances with the team, the former Louisiana Tech forward averaged two points, 1.1 rebounds and 0.4 assists over 6.6 minutes per game.
While he wasn't expected to be one of the team's top scorers, Crawford's efficiency wasn't ideal. The small forward shot 41.7% from the field and an abysmal 23.1% from 3-point range during his limited playing time. That said, at 24 years old, Crawford will have other chances to prove himself worthy of an NBA contract. Looking ahead to next year, Crawford will be a restricted free agent, giving the Rockets a chance to retain him if they so choose.
