After news of the tragic death of Rondale Moore, tributes from the football world have poured in across the internet for the former Arizona Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings wide receiver who was only 25 years old.

One such message came from Marquise "Hollywood" Brown, who played receiver in Arizona alongside Moore from 2022-23. In the heartbreaking tweet, Brown said his former teammate had just messaged him before the news.

"Bro ain't no way brotha you just messaged me few hours ago," Brown wrote. In a different tweet, Brown said Moore wasn't alone: "I told you I know how you feel." Brown also shared a text he sent Moore in August around the time Moore suffered a season-ending knee injury.

On his Instagram story, Brown posted a screenshot of a DM from Moore that was likely the last message he was talking about. It was a response to a post by Brown that said "Ppl really believe if you got money you don't go through anything and have no problems." Moore endorsed the message, saying "omm" (on my mother).

Brown's messages are a sad glimpse into the last moments of a young man who died to soon.
