Southeastern softball got its first Scioto Valley Conference victory of the season. Meanwhile, Unioto baseball had two pitchers combine for a no-hitter.
Here are the highlights from Friday and Saturday.

Friday
Southeastern 11, Unioto 1: Gracie Brown went 4-of-4 with a triple, four runs an RBI and three stolen bases. Ava Cyrus went 2-of-4 with four RBI. Lydia Williams was 2-of-3 with a triple and three runs, Ally Fisher was 2-of-3 with a triple, a run and an RBI. Kylie Williams had a complete game, giving up three hits, one run, two walks and striking out three. She also went 3-of-4 at the plate with a double and two RBI. For Unioto, McKenna Williams was 1-of-2 with a double and an RBI. Mackenzie Paught was 1-of-3 with a double.
McClain 6, Waverly 9: Ava Robertson went 3-of-3 with three runs, a home run and an RBI. Whitley Brown was 2-of-4 with a run and two RBI. Caris Risner was 2-of-4 with a run and an RBI. Lexi Smith earned the win going seven innings and giving up 11 hits, six runs (4 earned) and striking out eight. Hayden Jones was 2-of-3 with a run and an RBI.
Adena 8, Paint Valley 3: Adelynn Nelson went 3-of-3 with a run, four RBI and a double. Alexis Blankenship was 1-of-2 with three runs and three stolen bases. Addy Cottrill went six innings, giving up three earned runs, five walks and struck out three. Jolyn Jett went 1-of-3 with a double, a run and an RBI. Marly Halcomb went 1-of-1 with a double and a run. For Paint Valley, Lydia Hamilton went 2-of-3 with a run. Haley Burton went 2-of-4 with a run. Kyla Littler went 2-of-3 with a stolen base. Sophia Stauffer was 1-of-4 with a double and two RBI. Amanda Conaway was 1-of-2 with a run.
Piketon 2, Westfall 1: Addy Blakeman got the win after going five innings and giving up four hits, one earned run, seven walks and striking out five. She also registered an RBI. Kyndall Carroll got the save with two innings pitched, giving up one walk and staking out three. Jaylin Forbes led the offense, going 3-of-3 with a home run, two runs and an RBI. For Westfal, Adrina Hicks had a complete game, giving up seven hits, two earned runs, two walks, and struck out seven. At the plate, she went 1-of-3 with a double. Kenzie Cook was 1-of-2 with a double and a run.
Zane Trace 9, Huntington 4: Haylynn Boggess-Pierce went 3-of-4 with a triple, two runs and three stolen bases. Reagan Arthurs went 1-of-3 with a home run, an RBI and a stolen base. Aubree Thomas went 2-of-4 with two runs, two RBI, a double and six stolen bases. Brynn Wipert had a complete game, giving up eight hits, two earned runs, and struck out 11. She also went 1-of-3 with a double, an RBI and a stolen base. For Huntington, Allie Baker went 4-of-4, with a triple, a run, a stolen base and an RBI. Kaylee Kendall had two RBI. Emma Swords and Kenley Smith went 1-of-3, each with a run.
Saturday
Lynchburg-Clay 0, Westfall 2: Adrina Hicks went 6.2 innings, giving up five hits and striking out 12. She also went 1-of-2 at the plate with one run. Kenzie Cook went 1-of-2 with a double and an RBI. Gabby Henry went 1-of-3 with an RBI and a double.
Zane Trace 4, Circleville 6: Brynn Wipert went six innings, giving up five hits, six runs (two earned) and two walks and eight strikeouts. She went 1-of-3 with a run. Haylynn Boggess-Pierce went 1-of-3 with a run. Carlie Clark and Willow Cacciatore each scored a run.
John Glenn 13, Zane Trace 2: Haylynn Boggess-Pierce went 2-of-3 with a run. Grace Lyon went 0-of-2 with a run.
Friday
Zane Trace 2, Huntington 1: Ezra Rippeth earned the save in an 8-inning game. He had one inning pitched, and gave up no hits or runs and struck out one. Gunnar McCullough had the win, going seven innings, two hits, one earned run, three walks and striking out six. Landen Jarrell went 1-of-3 with a double, an RBI and a stolen base. Coen Larson and Lukas Oiler scored the Pioneers' two runs. For Huntington, even in the loss Andrew Oyer gave up only three hits, five walks and struck out eight after going all eight innings. Brayden Elliott went 1-of-4 with an RBI. Carson Henneberger scored the lone run for the Huntsmen.
Adena 2, Paint Valley 0: Austin Magill had a complete game, giving up no walks, and striking out eight. He also scored one of the Warriors' runs. Fisher Schaaf went 1-of-2 with a run and a stolen base. For Paint Valley, Colton Yoakum went 1-of-2. Preston Fauber, John Free and Jase Rinehart all went 1-of-3.
Unioto 12, Southeastern 0: KB Perkins and David Long combined for a no-hitter. Perkins went four innings, giving up one walk and striking out six. Long pitched one inning and struck out one. At the plate, Perkins went 1-of-2 with two runs, and two RBI. Long went 1-of-2 with a run and an RBI. Ethan Puckett went 1-of-3 with three RBI. Jaxon Zickafoose went 2-of-4 with two runs and a stolen base. Keegan Snyder went 2-of-4 with a run and an RBI. Callaway Ratliff went 1-of-2 with three runs and an RBI. Westfall 6, Piketon 4: Noah Stonerock got the win in an eight-inning game. He went 7.2 innings, giving up four runs (one earned), walked none and struck out 13. Cory Green had the game-tying RBI double in the event. Brenden Tuttle earned the save, giving up no hits, no runs, no walks and struck out one. AJ Pluta went 2-of-5 with two RBI and a stolen base. For Piketon, Mason Roberts was a no-decision, but pitched 4.1 innings, giving up two runs (one earned), and struck out five. He also went 3-of-4 at the plate with an RBI. Zack Hannah went 1-of-3, with two runs and two stolen bases. Jace Ritchie went 1-of-4 with a run and an RBI.
Saturday
Unioto 5, Lynchburg-Clay 1: Jaxon Zickafoose went 3-of-3 with three runs in the non-league contest. Keegan Snyder went 1-of-3 with a run and RBI. Logan Perdew got the win, going seven innings and giving up five hits, one run, three walks and striking out five.
New Albany 9, Chillicothe 2: Kayden Aftyka went 0-of-2 with a run and Mason Brown went 0-of-2 with a run. Vincent Haller recorded an RBI for the Cavaliers in the nonleague loss.
Westfall 2, Miami Trace 6: Jaden Towler went 1-of-3 with an RBI. Cash Conrad and Brendan Biegler scored the two runs.
Fairland 2, Zane Trace 8: Pierce Manson went seven innings, giving up eight hits, two runs (one earned) and striking out seven. Landen Jarrell went 2-of-4 with three runs and an RBI. Coen Larswon went 3-of-4 with four runs and an one RBI.
Waverly 7, Vinton County 11: Hunter Hauck went 2-of-4 with two runs, a double, a triple and an RBI. Kage Alexander went 0-of-1 with two walks and one run. Liam Cross went 0-of-2 with two walks and two runs.
Huntington 5, Eastern 6: Seth Throckmorton went 1-of-3 with a double and two runs. He also pitched five innings, giving up five hits, five runs, one walk and four strikeouts. Braydon Elliott went 3-of-4 with two RBI and a run. Kevin Barr went 1-of-3 with a run and an RBI.
