The Houston Texans welcomed nine newcomers to the roster in the 2025 NFL draft, including five offensive players who are looking to make an impact on the team moving forward.

The Texans have four picks in the top 100, but ended up moving around to secure a future 2026 third-round pick. The players the Texans did draft fit a particular skill set that new offensive coordinator Nick Caley and head coach DeMeco Ryans believe can contribute to the team in 2025.

Joining the passing attack are Iowa State wide receivers Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel as weapons for C.J. Stroud. On the offensive line, Aireontae Ersery from Minnesota is expected to be the long-term replacement for Laremy Tunsil. Iowa tight end Luke Lachey could be a solid blocker and provide depth behind Dalton Schultz as the new long-term No. 2.
