Dec. 19—CAPSHAW — Chris Fitts led three East Limestone players in double figures with a game-high 18 points as the Indians picked up a 57-49 win over Hartselle in boys basketball on Thursday.

Coleby Davis and Charlie Eslick had 12 points each for the Indians, who trailed 25-22 at halftime.

Rhett Boyd led Hartselle with 12 points. Gray Bennich scored nine points for the Tigers, while Asa Priola added eight points.



Decatur Heritage boys 85, Lexington 55: Jordan Davis poured in a game-high 36 points in a big win for Decatur Heritage on Thursday.

Jayden Cooper (13) and Karter Jefferies (11) each scored in double figures for the Eagles, while Sam Gardner and Jaion Miller added eight points each.



West Morgan boys 84, Good Hope 45: Landon Henderson scored 20 points to lead West Morgan on Thursday.

Colby Jones had 15 points for the Rebels, while Brendon Bradford added 14 points. Keelan Murphy (13) and Tay McDaniel (11) also scored in double figures for the Rebels.



East Limestone boys 63, Brewer 35: Davis had 16 points and eight rebounds as East Limestone picked up a big win on Tuesday.

Kayne Myers had 11 points and eight rebounds for the Indians, while Fitts and Zay Sales added nine points each.



Buckhorn boys 53, Athens 39: Brayden Walker had 11 points for Athens on Tuesday.

Newton Johnsey had eight points for the Golden Eagles and Torian Mangrum scored six.



East Limestone girls 49, Hartselle 39: Ava Tillery led East Limestone with a game-high 20 points on Thursday.

Kennedy Brown scored 11 points for the Indians, while Kate Hovis and Aria Cain added nine points each.

Karson Boyer and Brinley Sams had eight points each for Hartselle.



Elkmont girls 59, Tanner 51: McKenzie Doner led Elkmont with 17 points in a win on Thursday.

Mollie Slaton had 14 points for the Red Devils, who led 38-17 at the half. Alexi Douglas and Khloe Jones had 11 points each for Tanner.



Good Hope girls 48, West Morgan 37: Haniyah Standridge scored a team-high 16 points for West Morgan on Thursday, while Raygen Muse added nine points.



Falkville girls 45, Danville 40: Maci Jane Tidwell had 19 points and eight rebounds for Danville on Thursday.

Addison Prater had 10 points and nine rebounds for the Hawks, while Kirstyn Robinson added seven points.
