It seams something has got into my computer as there appears to be a mass emailing to all on my email list. I have a firewall and avg free. How do I find this and get rid of it or do I need a pro??

this was in my hotmail account. What do I do now? I ran my avg scan and it came up empty.

The free avg is ok but not going to cover against many of the bad virus. I still would suggest buying a better verson of the app but depending on the viruse you might want to do a clean install.

Sounds like you downloaded a Trojan. So, i have AVAST and it has never failed me. However, I also don't click on things when I don't know what they are. You must have at some point. Every program is different but you can usually get rid of these by doing a "boot scan" or "start up" scan etc...... The name varies from program to program.
