LJ:

Just wanted to let you know that I appreciate your effort, and would love to see you start at guard next year. I've met you before, and I appreciate the effort you always make with the fans. If you are starting at RG I think this will solve not only the run blocking but also the pass blocking issues of the past. Regardless of where you end up, thanks for your efforts.

I almost wanted to post something like this myself. I think LJ is a great part of the team, and I'd love to keep him around. I only supported any trade under the basis that he wanted to leave. If that's not the truth, I say that he's probably a better value than a lot of players currently on the market.

Yup..

I also got the impression that LJ wanted out. I don't think Shelton is the type of player that Green wants at RT, but I would definately want him back a RG and back-up at LT.

LJ wants out if he has to sit. He wants to play, not sit. Play.

I'd love for him to stay here and start - be it guard, tackle tight end or whatever.

He's been one our best O-linemen over the past couple years. And he's certainly the best O-lineman available right now.

I haven't understood the whole "benching/trade" thing at all. If he wants to play here, let him play.

he's been the "best" O-linemen on a WOEFUL offensive line. Bottom line - if he wants to play - let him play? How about if DG doens't think he fits in our scheme and can't play - he shouldn't play and we let those decisions go to the coach.

I like LJ, however at 3mil he is way overpriced and we could use that money for two players. Now I know the cap hit on him seam to keep even. But will have an effect on how we grow in the future. Last years line was bad. LJ was hurt the year before and came into camp overwieght and out of shape, that's when he lost it here with Green.I can't see us retaining him, unless the situation changes. I would say there is an 80 % chance it wont.

Do you not trust your own eyes?

I mean he has clearly been the best o-lineman the last couple of years prior to DG's regime....is all that awash now? Hey DG wants to trade him?-fine, but dont sell us this "LJ sucks" crap...it isnt true! Myabe he doesnt buy into DG's game plan and needs to be gone, thats fie I have no problem with that, but dont try and say he cant play...thats assinine!

If you take into consideration Kendall and Davis "WOEFUL" seems a little extreme when characterizing them. The others aren't Pro Bowl, but still, "WOEFUL"?

Also, how about DG drop whatever point he's trying to make and let LJ play.

And I can play coach anytime I feel like it. :D
